Fire units were dispatched just after 6 pm on Sunday evening to a reported structure fire. Arriving fire units located a working fire in a single story class five structure with heavy fire showing from side A. Engine 5 took the hydrant on the corner and stretched in with two 1 3/4 attack lines while Truck 7 setup on side A for ventilation. Fire had posession of 75% of the structure with all occupants out and accounted for. One engine from Plainfield Fire was called to the scene and detailed to search operations. One engine from the New Market Fire Department was detailed to coverage duties. Both occupants of the structure were transported to the burn center with burns and respiratory issues. No update on their condition is available at this time. The fire was placed under control and turned over for cause and orgin investigation. DC DelNegro in command.
