Rescue 1 is a 2003 E-One cab & frame on a Saulsbury body. This rig is our primary rescue and vehicle extrication apparatus and carries various rescue-related equipment and tools, such as hydraulic cutters & spreaders, rescue rope, stabilizing jacks, and more.
Engine 4
Engine 4 is a 2023 E-One Cyclone with a 50-foot teleboom. This rig also sports a 2000 gallon-per-minute pump and a 780-gallon water tank. Engine 4 is our primary first-due engine.
Engine 5
Engine 5 is a 2013 E-One with a 2000 gallon-per-minute pump and a 750-gallon tank. This rig also has a 30-gallon foam tank. Engine 5 is our primary second-due engine, but will occasionally see service as a first-due engine.
Engine 6
Engine 6 is a 2001 E-One with a 2000 gallon-per-minute pump and a 750 gallon tank. This rig is our primary third-due engine, but will occasionally see service as either first-due or second due, depending on the needs of the department. Engine 6 is also used as our primary mutual-aid engine.
Truck 7
Truck 7 is a 2017 E-One Cyclone with a 100-foot rear-mounted aerial platform. This rig also boasts a 2000 gallon-per-minute pump and a 300-gallon tank. This rig also carries various ground ladders, saws, and tools. Truck 7 also responds to mutual aid assignments when requested.
Squad 8
Squad 8 is a 1989 Ford F-800 cab & frame on an American Eagle body. Squad 8 is the oldest active rig in our current fleet. This rig carries water rescue equipment, as well as secondary rescue and ventilation equipment.
Brush 9
Marine 1
Brush 9 is a 2008 Ford F-350. This rig is our primary brush fire unit and has 4x4 capabilities to reach some of the off-road, wooded areas in the Borough. The 60 gallon-per-minute pump and 200-gallon tank is built on a custom sled that is slid and secured in the bed of the rig. In the winter, the sled is removed and a plow can be attached to remove snow on the firehouse parking lot and front apron. Brush 9 is also used to tow Marine 1, our rescue boat that is used for rescue missions on Spring Lake, as well as rescue missions during severe flooding in town.
Chief 50
Car 50 is a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe that is driven by the Chief. The rear of the vehicle contains radios and incident commander equipment.
Deputy 51
Car 51 is a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe that is driven by Deputy Chief 1. The rear of the vehicle contains radios and incident commander equipment.
Deputy 52
Car 52 is a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe that is driven by Deputy Chief 2. The rear of the vehicle contains radios and incident commander equipment.
